So I decided to install 7z (assuming that it would support rar format). I read in the man page that: 7za.exe supports only 7z, lzma, cab, zip, gzip, bzip2, Z and tar formats I got the error: Processing archive: a.part1.rar I tried to use: 7za e 'a.part1.rar' -psomepassword I want to extract rar files which are like (a.part1.rar, a.part2.rar etc) and one rar file cannot be opened without the remaining files.
